Writing is a skill that many have mastered or are still learning. In order to master this skill, many drafts are created before having the final product. The new generation is learning with digital writing tools. However, there are still some millennials who are still used to the traditional way of writing. Using notebooks, and pens are becoming more responsible consumers.

The truth is that the use of newly produced paper has a consequence for the environment, more specifically for trees. That is why many have changed to recycled paper. Today you can find notebooks made from recycled paper. But there are also other alternatives to the well-known recycled paper.

Remember the whiteboards that we used to see in class? What if there was a white-board version of a notebook. You make your notes, saved them digitally clean the page with a wet cloth a continue writing. Allow me to introduce ” THE ROCKETBOOK“. The new way of writing. You can find a variety of models of the Rocketbook. My favorite is the “Rocketbook Everlast” Executive model, not too big not too small, the right size to carry in your purse or bag.

How does it work?

According to the creators, using the Rocketbook is not difficult to use and there are several benefits when using this product:

The Rocketbook system connects traditional handwriting surfaces with the power of the cloud. Combine the extensive line of reusable notetaking products with our free app to take off into the digital future! How?

Use the free Rocketbook app to configure popular cloud services as your scan destinations.
Start scanning your notes, to-do lists, and out-of-this-world ideas. See green, snap, and your notes will be visually enhanced! Then, your scans will automatically blast off to their rightful cyber destination at the speed of your mobile connection.

A modern way to experience traditional handwriting. They worked with several experts to develop their patented, futuristic technology while keeping an authentic pen and paper feel.

No more notepaper guilt! Rocketbook products can be reused, so you can stop using your other paper notebooks and save trees. When combined with Pilot FriXion ink, the pages of your Everlast can be wiped clean with water and a cloth!

Taking Action!

The endlessly reusable Rocketbook Everlast saves many trees. You thought that was it?

Well, let me tell you that the creators have partnered with One Tree Planted, a 501C3 non-profit with a mission to reforest the planet one tree at a time.  They even designed a special edition Rocketbook Everlast to celebrate our precious planet. And for the month of April, for every Everlast Earth Edition sold, One Tree Planted will plant one tree.

One Tree Planted was founded in 2014 and works with reforestation organizations around the world to help get more trees in the ground. Through donations and fundraising, they’re able to plant trees in North America, South America, Asia, and Africa. Trees are vital to our everyday lives and help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink and provide habitat to over 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. One Tree Planted is also committed to helping young folks learn about the importance of trees, sustainability, and having a positive impact on the environment.

It’s great to see initiatives like this that offer a solution for one of our problems, deforestation. I have saved a lot of paper by using my Rocketbook during business meeting and conferences. They have several colors and designs. Check out their website for more info: getrocketbook.com

Even if Rocketbook it’s not your thing, be more conscious of the products you buy. For example, use more recycled paper. Today you can easily find a notebook made from recycled paper. So, what do you think? Will you make the change?
